One Shot Mix Size (Terry Towel)

#
Modified Starch

One shot sizing agent can be used for sizing of yarn in the sizing process. It is especially suitable terry towels made from cotton and blends of all counts to be woven on modern high speed shuttle less, rapier and projectile looms.

Yarn undergoes frictions and tensions during weaving process. Such abrasions are significantly high on modern shuttle-less high speed weaving machines. The efficiency of weaving depends on resistance offered by the yarn against abrasions and tensile strength of yarn.

It has appropriate viscosity, hence offers adequate coating of size on the yarn that helps effective suppression of hairiness and smoothness of yarn, resulting in improved resistance against abrasions.

It also provides high film strength and high adhesion which results in providing toughness to the yarn helping it to withstand against the jerks and tensions during weaving. The film produced by One Shot Mix size adheres to the fiber strongly to result in minimum droppings at leasing and weaving.

It can be easily removed by normal scouring and bleaching process, resulting in much better TEGEWA rating. It also gives much better penetration and leveling in subsequent processes.
